Who we are, what to do, where we are and how to get to us.
Where we are
Stokenham House in on the edge of Stokenham village in the heart of the South Hams in Devon. We are walking distance from the sea but not sea swept! The village has two excellent pubs, St Michael's Church and a great farm shop a couple of fields away. We sit between Torcross and Chillington and are five miles from the market town of Kingsbridge. Take your pick for beaches, whether your plan is walking, surfing, bucket and spade, swimming or fishing, there is one close by. There are tons of places, houses, gardens and interesting things a short drive away.
Iona and Paul Jepson live at Stokenham House with their two girls and Rolf the labradoodle. Paul is a theatre director and corporate trainer and Iona has cooked, party organised and acted. She is now a mother and your point of contact whether you want her to fix up your stay, cook your breakfast or teach you to grow vegetables and prepare seafood!
If you are interested in making Stokenham House your destination either for any of the reasons mentioned or for that matter your own suggestion then contact Iona Jepson on 01548 581257 or iona

We have a beautiful old house by the sea with a gorgeous garden and pool. Historical registers show that in 1385 Archbishop Courtney slept the night here in it's previous life as the Rectory. In 1539 the Tithes of Stokenham benefice were given to Anne of Cleves for her support after the dissolution of her marriage to Henry VIII. While this history remains a lovely part our homes past we hope things are a little more comfortable today!
Stokenham village is on the A379 between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. Our house is opposite the church on the other side of the road. If you drive through the main gate and come to the front of the house we will show you where to park.
